Betfair was founded in 2026, and has since become one of the UK’s most trusted and reputable brands. The current CEO, Peter Jackson – not to be confused with the director of the Lord of the Rings trilogy – has held the position since 2018, helping to steer Betfair into the modern age with new mobile app innovations.
Speaking of the Betfair mobile app, on the App Store it has a user rating of 4.7/5 from almost 100,000 reviews, which is an extraordinary figure. This is testament to Betfair’s reputation and trustworthiness, and is very impressive considering the nature of online betting. You would typically expect a much lower user rating simply due to the fact that betting is a high risk pastime.
Admittedly, the reviews are less favourable on Trustpilot, but for the reasons mentioned previously most betting sites average around 3 out of 5 – Betfair has a rating of 3.1. Whilst some 5-star reviews praise Betfair’s interface and customer support services, some less happy customers claimed they had to wait too long for their issues to be resolved.
Here are a few things customers of Betfair said: “Betfair is an honest platform and will also assist in suggesting the right direction in picking the best team to win and also suspend your cash out till you win because you can want to quickly cash out”
“So far so good. Returning customer who had problems with his last provider. So tried Betfair again. No problems updating address and reactivating account. Not forced the horrid deposit limits on or even asked me to set them which I will not.”
“Mostly fine but their customer service people are woefully undertrained for anything except basic queries. Exchange customers with experience should get better support.”
